FAQ

How do I purchase a piece from you?

Due to the handmade quality of my jewelry, I am only able to have shop updates a few times a year. I post any in person updates on craft fairs and shows on my Instagram page where I also post story sales. I primarily sell my production work at these events and have a limited stock of my larger production work such as belt buckles and bolo ties.

If you are interested in purchasing a piece from the portfolio page please reach out through the Contact me section of my website.

In 2025 I will have a Shop page where production work will be listed. Stay tuned!

Do you accept customs/commissions?

I’m always taking custom belt buckle and bolo tie commissions though the time for completion of each project may vary. If you are interested in working with me to have a custom piece made please send me a message on the Contact me section of my website.

For more information on pricing and quotes please check out the Sales Quotes tab. I can only offer a limited number of Belt buckle spots a year and if you have a time sensitive commission request please indicate as so in your message.

Can I put a piece on Layaway or arrange multiple payments?

Yes! Currently I accept payment plans on any pieces that are over $200. I require 25% of the total plus shipping to reserve a piece. Then, I offer up to 4 non refundable payments spread over a maximum of 6 weeks. I am happy to accommodate what works best for you, so please indicate the time frame you prefer in your message.

How do I care for my new piece of Jewelry?

If you bought a belt buckle or bolo tie, these pieces are handmade from copper. Copper naturally oxidizes as it is in contact with the oxygen around us. This will cause the copper to form a patina, making it look less shiny than it was before sometimes discoloring it. While this is a natural process, it can be frustrating, nonetheless. Copper can easily be polished back up to its original shine with a sunshine polishing cloth. I do not recommend abrasive polish or cleaners for copper on buckles or jewelry as this could potentially adversely affect the metal and enamel.

If you like the look of the patina that has formed, it's okay to leave it as is! If your buckle or bolo has an oxidized finish (black) there is a layer of Renaissance wax buffed into it to protect the patina. With wear the finish may change and lessen over time even with the coating to protect the piece. If the finish on your piece wears in any way that you are dissatisfied with please feel free to contact me and I will reapply it free of charge.
